Job summary

Falls Road Animal Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks, including patient handling, restraint, basic lab work, and clerical duties.

You will help maintain clean facilities, assist with radiographs and anesthesia monitoring, and deliver compassionate care to all patients and clients. This is a full-time, day-shift role with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in veterinary hospitals required.
• Experience in Anesthesia monitoring is preferred.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet clients and guide to examining room; record basic vitals.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraint.
• Perform basic lab tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and clean kennels and facilities.
• Assist with anesthesia monitoring and patient care during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Promote hospital products and services; support team.
• Show up for full-time day-shift work; report for duties as assigned.
