Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Veterinary Technician Assistant experience or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, record weight and vital signs.
• Triage patients and assist with medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medication administration or restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment (EKG, monitors, pumps, scales).
• Maintain medical records and proper documentation.
