Job summary

Destination Pet is hiring a Veterinary Assistant at All Community Animal Hospital in Porter, TX. This full-time role supports veterinarians, handles patient intake, medical records, and basic nursing tasks. We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented team player with at least 1 year of clinic experience.

You’ll assist with exams, prepare instruments, manage files, assist with prescriptions, and help with check-in/out. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinic experience as a veterinary assistant.
• High school diploma required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians to provide nursing care.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist reception with check-in and checkout and provide telephone support.
• Perform laboratory tests.
