Job summary

Petco is seeking a Veterinary Technician in Frisco, Texas, responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have completed education as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician with at least one year of experience in a veterinary practice. Responsibilities include assisting with medical procedures, managing patient histories, and maintaining a clean environment. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills and offers a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent veterinary care to patients and phenomenal customer care to their owners.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint and obtain laboratory samples.
• Manage records and patient histories in the electronic medical record system.
