Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in veterinary medicine and surgeries.
• Assist with outpatient exams: take histories, vitals, weights, educate clients.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor during procedures.
• Obtain and process lab samples; perform in-hospital testing.
• Take, develop, and maintain radiographs per safety rules.
• Handle animals gently during exams.
• Administer medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments.
• Keep exam rooms and labs clean and stocked; assist teammates.
• Demonstrate warmth, courtesy and professionalism with clients.
• Communicate with veterinarians and team members about patient plans and concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
