Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent required or strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of patients.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs.
• Set up or carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards to keep pets safe and maintain clean exam rooms and labs.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
