Job summary

Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Van Driver (wheelchair) to join our team. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, the Facility Van Driver transports residents and materials, ensuring safety and comfort during outings and trips.

Required: High school diploma, PA driver’s license, CPR certification, and ability to pass a background check. Previous geriatric experience and a professional appearance are preferred; willingness to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Must be cleared by PA State Police or FBI criminal history check.
• Valid PA driver’s license required for driving van during residents’ outings.
• Must maintain acceptable record for driving a vehicle.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and materials as assigned.
• Assist with loading/unloading wheelchairs and equipment.
• Drive facility van during outings, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Operate and maintain vehicle in good condition and report issues.
