Job summary

New Horizons Rehabilitation is seeking a Van Driver to safely transport individuals from home to facility-based services and back. You will assist passengers with boarding and disembarking and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 5 years of driving experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Training including First Aid/CPR is provided and a background check, TB test, and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Twenty-One (21) Years of Age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and 5 years driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport persons with developmental disabilities using agency vehicles.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and general maintenance oversight.
