Robinson Terrace in New York, NY is seeking a dependable Van Driver to provide safe transportation for residents to medical appointments and other facility-related trips. The role requires professionalism, patience, and a caring attitude toward the elderly population.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $18.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience. A current NYS Driver’s License is required, and a CNA certification is preferred or available for attainment.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Driver’s License in good standing.
• CNA certification preferred or willingness to obtain CNA certification.
• DOT physical examination required; company will pay.
• Experience transporting or working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport residents to medical and other appointments.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Ensure residents are secured and comfortable during transportation.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to residents.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and report concerns.
• Maintain transportation and mileage records as required.
• Communicate appointment schedules with facility staff.
• Follow facility policies and transportation regulations.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and dignity.
• Assist with other transportation-related duties as assigned.
