Qualifications

• Valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience transporting seniors or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Ability to assist passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, or mobility aids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required depending on facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents using a company-provided van.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges.
• Follow scheduled routes and maintain accurate transport logs.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures.
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity of all residents.
