Job summary

Regency Care of Central Oregon in Bend, OR is seeking a Van Driver to safely transport residents to appointments and activities. You will ensure passenger safety, assist with wheelchairs, and maintain vehicle logs and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates are timely, well-groomed, and proficient in English, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL if required for the vehicle size. Prior experience with older adults is common.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Possess a driver’s license in good standing and ability to obtain a CDL if required by vehicle size.
• Typical candidates have one year of experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of each passenger, assisting with wheelchair locking and seatbelt fastening.
• Inspect vehicle wear items daily, maintain license tags, inspection & trip logs
• Clean vehicle interior and exterior regularly
• Obey driving laws and ensure appointment timeliness
