QSAC in New York, NY is seeking a Full-Time Van Driver to transport individuals to QSAC programs and assist the Bus Matron in care and supervision. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be over 21 years of age for insurance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1–2 years professional driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lb and assist individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report safety issues and mechanical problems in the vehicle.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and the van is ready (gas, first aid kit, phone).
• Assist the van matron in supervising individuals during transport.
• Follow routes and report incidents to supervisor.
• Inspect the vehicle at shift end to ensure no one or items are left behind.
• Report accidents to supervisors and police and file Accident Reports.
• Communicate delays or incidents to parents/guardians.
