Job summary

Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization serving older adults and seriously ill individuals in northeast Kansas. As a Transportation Specialist, you will drive buses, vans or cars to transport participants to medical appointments and the PACE Day Center, while ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license (KS/MO) and automobile liability insurance are required.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Physical ability to assist participants, including bending, lifting and wheelchair transfers.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses, vans, or cars to transport participants to medical appointments and the PACE Day Center.
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and buildings; help with wheelchairs and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues to the care team.
• Observe safety regulations and communicate schedule changes or concerns to the team.
