Job summary

Midland Care Connection is seeking a Transportation Specialist for its PACE program in Olathe, KS. The role supports participants by driving to appointments and activities, assisting with transfers, and ensuring safety during trips.

Eligible candidates should have a Kansas or Missouri driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening. This is a PRN/part-time day-shift position with comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license
• Current automobile liability insurance
• Motor vehicle record that meets standards
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and drug screening
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Physical ability to assist participants, including lifting and transfers

Responsibilities

• Drive participants safely to medical appointments, Day Center, and home
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and buildings
• Help with wheelchairs and ambulatory transfers
• Maintain clean vehicle and perform basic safety checks
• Communicate any schedule changes or issues to the care team
• Observe and report changes in participants’ health or behavior as needed
