Job summary

Rouse Estate is seeking a Transportation Aide to help our residents travel safely to appointments, outings, and other activities on a full-time or part-time basis. You will operate a transport van with a wheelchair lift, assist residents during visits, and support coordinating trips for efficiency.

Ideal candidates are dependable, have a kind demeanor, enjoy conversations, and can work well in a team. A valid PA driver’s license with a clean record is required, and CPR certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Must be patient, friendly and able to engage residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a transport van with wheelchair lift (on-the-job training provided).
• Assisting residents during appointments and outings.
• Managing receipts and small errands like lab runs or shopping.
• Coordinating trips for maximum efficiency.
• Occasionally flexible schedule when needed.
