Job summary

Aurora Health and Rehabiliation in Missouri is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver to help residents travel to medical appointments and community activities with safety and compassion.

You will transport residents, follow a daily driving schedule, assist with transfers, maintain the vehicle, and communicate with clinical staff to ensure comfort and safety for all residents throughout their transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have completed a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport residents to medical appointments, outpatient programs, and community facilities.
• Develop and follow a daily driving schedule based on resident needs and appointment priorities.
• Transport residents to/from hospitals or other facilities as needed.
• Observe residents during transport and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with safe lifting, transfers, and mobility as directed by clinical staff.
• Maintain the facility vehicle in clean and safe condition.
