Evergreen Healthcare Group in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Transportation Driver for Alaska Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center. You will provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and new admissions, creating a positive first impression during transfers to hospitals and appointments.

Responsibilities include transporting residents to and from hospitals, helping with mobility, communicating clearly with residents, families and staff, keeping the vehicle clean and safe, and reporting any

Qualifications

Active CNA license preferred.
Washington state driver’s license in good standing.
Experience with elderly or vulnerable populations a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Transport residents to and from hospitals, doctor appointments, and other facilities as needed.
Provide clear and respectful communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring safety and comfort during trips.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
Report any incidents, concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
Support residents during transitions, offering reassurance and promoting a smooth experience for both residents and their families.
