Job summary

Majestic Care of Bedford is seeking a Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to and from the facility for approved activities, ensuring timely and secure arrivals to pre-determined destinations. You will operate the facility vehicle with care and assist residents during boarding and off-boarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent driving record.
• CPR Certification active, valid, and in good standing.
• CNA certification current and in good standing; CNA certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility vehicle in a safe manner when transporting residents.
• Assist residents during boarding and off-boarding the vehicle.
• Ensure safe arrival to destinations and the facility.
• Maintain route and mileage logs.
• Monitor routine vehicle safety conditions and fuel levels.
• Report vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Executive Director.
• Ensure passengers follow safety procedures, including fastening seat belts.
• Interact positively with residents and visitors as a representative of the facility.
