Qualifications

• Certified Counselor in the State of California.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus; must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, accepting attitude toward patients.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling; conduct direct service hours at scheduled intervals; coordinate services during treatment.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Facilitate, establish and review initial treatment plans with each patient.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Ensure efficient delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
