Job summary

The ARC at Cincinnati is seeking compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants to join our skilled nursing team. As an STNA you will provide high-quality resident care and support daily living activities in a welcoming environment, collaborating closely with nurses.

Shifts include Day 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Night 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Ohio STNA certification is required; excellent communication and teamwork are essential for delivering safe, compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio STNA certification or eligibility.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide excellent resident care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality resident care and assist with daily living activities.
• Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to needs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Turn and reposition residents to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
• Assist with meals while following dietary needs and preferences.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Measure and document food and fluid intake and output.
• Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Monitor residents for signs of injury, illness, or concerns and report findings promptly.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and team members.
