Job summary

Childrens 1st Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement effective therapy strategies. The role requires documenting progress, adjusting goals, and collaborating with families to empower patient outcomes.

You will provide compassionate care, maintain organized records, and contribute to a supportive, outcome-driven treatment team focused on helping patients reach communication goals.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions.
• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellness.
• Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome.
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success.
