Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services and health education. You will conduct evaluations, develop care plans, and deliver therapy using evidence-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP).
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state or fulfilling requirements if the state does not license SLPs.
• Minimum of one year’s clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environments to identify speech/language function needs.
• Develop and implement plans of care to address functional speech defects.
• Administer specialized therapeutic techniques and recommend communication aids as needed.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and collaborate with other healthcare personnel.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in discharge planning using the EMR system.
• Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices.
• May supervise home health aides related to the speech-language therapy plan of care.
