Rolling Green Village is a not-for-profit retirement community in Greenville seeking a hospitality-minded Sous Chef for a full-service, cook-to-order kitchen. Flexible AM/PM shifts with generally no hours past 8pm; staff receive meals and uniforms.

You will supervise kitchen staff, assist in menu development, ensure sanitation and safety per DHEC, and manage inventory and ordering. This role offers competitive pay and benefits for full-time employees.

Qualificações

• Assist in planning, scheduling and supervising kitchen staff.
• Develop menus and ensure production equals manager expectations.
• Provide on-the-job training for kitchen staff.
• Create work assignments and monitor standards.
• Oversee ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety per DHEC guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise production, sanitation and food service for residents.
• Monitor temperature logs and kitchen systems.
• Lead standardized recipe and menu specification development.
• Maintain inventory controls and par levels.
• Ensure proper heating, cooling and holding of products.
