Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Prior dietary services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following standardized recipes and portion-control guidelines
• Prepare foodstuffs and cook using a variety of methods
• Serve food per dietary guidelines, checking for accuracy against resident diets
• Maintain and sanitize kitchen equipment; support dietary department cleaning
• Supervise food service staff in the absence of the Dietary Services Manager
