Job summary

Western Slope Health Center is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Placerville, CA. This full-time role offers an hourly starting pay of $70 and requires 40 hours per week on the AM shift.

CFs are encouraged to apply as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The SLP will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans addressing speech, cognition, and swallowing, and educate families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred and generally required for licensure.
• CA licensure eligibility or California license required for the position.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech-language therapy needs.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on goals and strategies.
• Supervise CFs and students per California requirements.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
