Job summary

FellowshipLIFE is seeking a part-time waiter/waitress in Hackettstown, NJ to provide attentive dining service at Riverwalk Village. Duties include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean dining area.

Experience in customer service or food service is preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods and handle transactions using a POS system. bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any additional requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
