Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Server for our community restaurant in Elgin, IL. You will help create an exceptional dining experience for residents and their guests, building warm relationships and delivering friendly, attentive service.

As a Server you will direct residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist with drink selections; you will enter orders in our POS system and help with opening and closing dining room duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality with focus on resident satisfaction.
• Possess Food Handler’s Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong customer service presentation.
• 18+ or valid schoolwork authorization if under 18.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate resident orders using the POS system.
• Complete opening and closing dining room duties as established by the community.
