The Orchard Assisted Living seeks a dependable Driver to transport residents for outings, appointments, and Life Enrichment activities, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and at least one year of experience; prior senior-care exposure is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Driving record must be acceptable to company insurance carrier.
• Minimum one-year experience preferred.
• Excellent driving skills on wet/slippery roads.
• Ability to load/unload wheelchair-dependent residents safely.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports residents on routine scheduled outings and activities.
• Observes safety regulations at all times.
• Schedules routine vehicle maintenance and keeps vehicles in good repair.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out.
• Assists residents during outings and ensures safety.
• Keeps records and schedules of resident requests.
• Calculates group trip costs and forwards billing paperwork.
• Records mileage and maintains vehicle logs.
