The Orchard Assisted Living seeks a Driver to safely transport residents on routine outings and Life Enrichment activities, ensuring passengers are buckled and safe at all times.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid CDL with passenger endorsement where required, a driving record acceptable to our insurer, and about one year of driving experience. The role emphasizes safety and courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• CDL with passenger endorsement (state requirement).
• Driving record acceptable to company insurer.
• Minimum one-year driving experience preferred.
• Good driving skills on wet/slippery roads.
• Ability to load/unload wheelchair-dependent residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports residents on routine outings and Life Enrichment activities.
• Observes safety regulations at all times.
• Keeps vehicles clean inside and out and performs routine maintenance scheduling.
• Assists residents before and during outings and ensures safety at all times.
• Maintains records of resident requests and mileage logs.
• Reports accidents or incidents to proper authorities when necessary.
