Premier at Perry Village in New Bloomfield, PA is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver for our skilled nursing facility. You will provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and deliver compassionate care during each trip.
This part-time role requires a valid PA license, clean driving record, and strong customer service skills. You will coordinate with nursing staff, assist residents with mobility, and ensure vehicles are safe and clean for daily use.
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience in transportation or healthcare preferred.
- Experience transporting seniors or mobility-limited individuals is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments and outings.
- Assist residents entering/exiting the vehicle safely.
- Escort residents to appointments as needed.
- Coordinate transportation schedules with nursing staff and providers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and routine inspections.
- Complete transportation documentation accurately.
- Follow traffic laws and facility safety procedures.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service.
