Job summary

LHC Group seeks a Senior Living Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver age-appropriate care under supervision. The PTA assists with treatment plans, supervises students/technicians, and provides patient and family instruction in a home-health setting.

Responsibilities include safe transfer and mobility support, equipment care, and adherence to clinical protocols, with opportunities for growth within the Optum family of businesses.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance or reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate physical therapy services under a PT's direction.
• Performs transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance with safe techniques.
• Maintains equipment logs, adheres to safety precautions, and documents care.
• Delivers patient/family instruction and participates in PI programs.
