Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain interior spaces and residents’ apartments in a clean and sanitary manner. The role includes housekeeping tasks, laundry, and adherence to safety procedures, with friendly service to residents and guests during meals.

You will work in a community setting, performing duties across housekeeping and dining service, with emphasis on attention to detail, organization, and reliable job performance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the Community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure linen supplies.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments and pay attention to entry areas, carpets, plants, and fixtures.
• Launder all linens in the provided facilities.
• Follow company sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests, serve meals from the cart, and take orders.
