Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Ellisville, MO is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will clean apartments and common areas, restock supplies, and assist with daily tasks to ensure a positive first impression.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) and the ability to work independently with compassion for the elderly.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff safely.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload during emergencies.
• Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Knowledge of MSDS sheets and hazard guidelines.
• Compassion and genuine care for the elderly.
• Demonstrates a SERVANT heart and attitude per Mission Statement.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes residents' apartments and common areas.
• Replaces and restocks toilet tissue, paper towels, and facial tissue.
• Deep cleans apartments and common areas as assigned.
• Shampoos carpets and furniture, washes windows and screens.
• Responds to residents' cleaning needs in a timely, respectful manner.
• Prepares apartment for move-in and follows checklists to ensure tasks are completed.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in clean, working order.
• Reports safety concerns or needed repairs to the Director.
