Job summary

Bethesda Gardens Fort Worth is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents, guests, and staff. The role involves cleaning apartments and common areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring safety and infection-control standards are met.

As part of a compassionate team, you will prepare units for move-ins, respond to cleaning needs promptly, and maintain equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload; emergencies may arise.
• Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Knowledge of MSDS sheets and safety guidelines for hazardous materials.
• Compassion and genuine care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents’ apartments and common areas; remove trash, dust, mop, vacuum, scrub baths and toilets.
• Replace and restock toilet tissue, paper towels and facial tissues.
• Deep clean assigned areas; shampoo carpets and furniture; wash windows.
• Respond to residents’ cleaning needs promptly and respectfully.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and follow checklists.
• Maintain a clean and stocked cleaning cart; report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance; support a positive environment.
