Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Kirkwood, MO seeks a dedicated housekeeper to perform routine cleaning in Senior Living settings, sanitize rooms after discharge, and maintain high safety standards.

You will move and arrange furniture, set up rooms for meetings and classes, and report maintenance needs to supervision. The role includes benefits such as 403b, daily pay, bonuses, holiday pay, and full health/dental coverage for regular status employees.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Institutional housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to demonstrate correct use of work-related chemicals, supplies, tools and equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with others in order to provide optimal customer service.
• Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work from a ladder.
• Ability to push and move equipment and furniture.
• Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands when working with required equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas to high standards.
• Sanitize rooms after resident discharge and prepare for new residents.
• Clean floors, carpets, and upholstery with proper signage and safety.
• Move furniture and assist with room setups for events.
• Report maintenance needs and status changes to supervisor.
