Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a devoted Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas while prioritizing seniors' well-being.

The role requires a caring disposition, ability to communicate in English, and physical ability to lift 40 pounds; previous hospitality or senior living experience is helpful but not required. You will work with a team and follow all safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Genuine loving and caring attitude for seniors.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Some experience in hospitality or a senior living setting is helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and policies.
• Dust wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets, shampoo as directed.
• Vacuum and spot clean sofas/chairs.
• Check for marks on walls and remove them.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Keep chemicals labeled and carts secured from residents."
• Collect and empty trash.
• Follow infection control techniques.
• Identify resident problems and report to supervisor.
• Notify maintenance of issues and safety hazards.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action.
• Use wet floor/safety signs as needed.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and in-services.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Listen to resident/family concerns and report to supervisor.
• Maintain composure in all situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
