Savant Senior Living in California seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain safe, clean, and comfortable spaces for residents. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow infection control protocols, and report issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sanitizing spaces, restocking supplies, and collaborating with staff to prioritize tasks while respecting resident privacy and dignity. Prior experience preferred; health screenings and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred, especially in health care or senior living.
• Special skills per California Codes 85065(f)/87411(g).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in lounges, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms.
• Perform tasks like trash removal, window cleaning, and surface polishing.
• Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Support infection control policies and inventory housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with staff and respect resident privacy.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and staff.
