The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, waste management, inventory, and safety adherence while engaging kindly with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & maintenance: vacuum, dust, sanitize, and mop common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste management: dispose of trash and recycling properly, keeping areas clean.
• Inventory management: maintain and restock cleaning supplies; report shortages or issues.
• Safety & sanitation: follow safety protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic environment.
• Team collaboration: work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident engagement: interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
