Job summary

MorningStar of Arvada is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our full-time, non-exempt team. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7am to 3:30pm, maintaining a spotless home for our residents and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment.

You will follow established cleaning procedures, support infection control, and collaborate with staff to honor residents’ memories and personal property while delivering compassionate care and dependable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience in a health care facility preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow instructions.
• Maintain appearance of housekeeping areas in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Assure areas are clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive.
• Follow infection control practices when performing housekeeping measures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain supplies.
• Report hazards, incidents, and ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Attend departmental meetings and maintain confidentiality of resident-care information.
