Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Driver to join our Gardens of Gainesville community to provide timely transportation for residents to activities and appointments. You will assist disabled passengers, secure wheelchairs, and communicate with base to ensure smooth operations.

You will maintain vehicles, perform cleanings and basic servicing, and assist with registration and inspections, contributing to a safe, caring environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record under DOT regulations.
• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• Strong organization and time-management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices for stability during trips.
• Safely operate radio/cell/pager to communicate with base/other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
