Job summary

The Pointe at Meridian is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport residents safely to activities and events in our senior living community. You will maintain the van, assist with light maintenance, and support life enrichment programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check on hire.
• Valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.
• CDL license if required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Chauffeur residents in the company vehicle as scheduled.
• Ensure resident safety when entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain safety while vehicle is in motion.
• Follow lift procedure requirements and safety rules.
• Report safety or health concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Pick up and delivery errands as requested by supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in proper running order.
• Assist in supporting resident activities and programs.
