Essential duties include preparing meals, serving with quality and consistency, maintaining a sanitary kitchen, and collaborating with the Dietary Manager. This role supports residents' dietary needs and helps ensure safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutritious and appetizing dishes.
• Meal Service: Serve meals timely with high quality, proper portions and presentation.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep kitchen clean, sanitary and well-organized following safety procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Dietary Manager and staff; assist in training new kitchen staff.
• Inventory Control: Help track food supplies and report shortages to the manager.
• Resident Engagement: Accommodate dietary requests and preferences, ensuring satisfaction.
