All American Assisted Living at Warwick is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a team-focused kitchen. You will follow established menus, recipes, and dietary needs while maintaining food safety standards.

The role emphasizes timely meal preparation, accurate labeling, and collaboration with Dining Services to support a positive dining experience for older adults.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, or similar food service environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and production schedules.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and production schedules.
• Ensure meals are prepared on time and meet quality and presentation standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and kitchen safety requirements.
• Prepare meals that accommodate residents’ dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences.
• Review menus and production sheets before meal preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food and ingredients.
• Monitor food temperatures and complete required documentation.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and maintaining food supplies.
• Monitor inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Work closely with Dining Services staff to support smooth meal service.
• Assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident programs as needed.
