Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or senior living kitchen experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are served on time and at correct temperature.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and workspace.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and care teams to meet resident needs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving deliveries.
• Assist with portion control and waste reduction.
• Update resident service plans and menus as needed.
• Adapt menu items to dietary restrictions or substitutions while maintaining nutrition.
