Job summary

The Landings of Cabarrus is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. You will work to ensure meals meet dietary requirements and resident preferences in a compassionate senior living setting.

Join our team to contribute to a culture of care, collaborate with the Dietary Manager, and help maintain a sanitary kitchen while following food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans.
• Ensure meals are served timely with quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Train and support kitchen staff as needed.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages or order needs.
