Job summary

Huntingtonretirement in Hawthorne, CA is seeking competent Caregivers to join our Nursing team. You will care for patients professionally and compassionately, supporting mobility, personal care, and daily activities.

The role includes AM/PM/NOC shifts, non-exempt status, and pay of $18–$19 per hour. Vaccination against Covid-19 (including booster) and background check clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First aid/CPR knowledge essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility (to activities, to dining room, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist feeding and bathing residents.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Provide increased assistance to residents with dementia or in memory care unit.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
