The Bristal in Englewood, NJ is seeking a full-time Cook for Tue-Fri 6am-2:30pm and Sat 11am-7pm, on-site. You will assist with preparation, seasoning and cooking meals for residents and staff under direction of the Director of Food Service or the Sous Chef.

The role requires at least 3 years in food handling, sanitation and safety standards; high school diploma; culinary training preferred; ability to work fast-paced; strong customer service, prioritization and English comprehension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in food handling and preparation, sanitation, and safety standards for institutions and/or restaurants.
• Culinary or cooking school experience/courses preferred; a minimum of a high school degree
• Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent ability to prioritize, deliver topnotch customer service and multi-task in a busy environment
• Ability to understand the English language and follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management
