Viva Senior Living in Baldwinsville, NY is seeking a compassionate Server to join our dining services team. You will provide meals and beverages to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and satisfaction during mealtimes.

You’ll work as part of a caring team, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and communicate dietary needs to staff. This role requires empathy, patience, and clear, respectful interactions with residents and families, contributing to a warm, welcoming dining environment

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors with memory impairments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow established procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsabilités

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist residents with needs during dining, providing support and encouragement as needed.
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a healthy dining environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address any special dietary needs or preferences.
• Monitor residents during meals to ensure their well-being and report any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as required.
