StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a dedicated food service assistant to prepare and serve meals that meet residents’ daily nutritional and dietary needs. You will assist in dishwashing and cleaning tasks, and help set up dining areas in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Formación

• One-year experience in food service institutional setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills.
• Understanding of person-centered care.
• Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor
• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes ensuring safe handling practices.
• Uses food supplies and equipment efficiently to prevent waste.
• Operates institutional food preparation and cleaning equipment (including dish machine).
• Follows cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assists with set-up of food tray line or buffet dining.
• Assembles meals and trays for residents according to procedures.
