Job summary

Wedgwood Gardens Care Center in New Jersey is hiring a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service for residents with specific dietary needs. You will help keep dining areas clean and welcoming and assist with kitchen tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with a passion for serving seniors and delivering a positive dining experience. Prior dietary or healthcare exposure is preferred, with the ability to stand for extended periods

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Genuine passion for serving seniors and creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation.
• Follow food safety and infection control guidelines.
• Support residents during mealtimes and provide excellent customer service.
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure quality meal service.
